Last Quarter: The Moon's Final Stage

The last quarter phase is when the moon is once again half-illuminated, but this time the left side is lit. It marks the third phase in the lunar cycle, after the full moon, and signals the nearing end of the current cycle. The last quarter moon represents reflection, release, and preparation for the new moon.
As the moon wanes towards the new moon, this phase reminds us of the cycle of endings and new beginnings.
